My minor child Alyssa Henry (16yrs old) was hired at your establishment (1018 N Main Street, Suffolk VA 23434) for her first job. Today was supposed to be her final day of training. At the end of her shift, she was called into a meeting with two managers where she was told she was being fired. Not because of customer complaint, poor work ethic or inability to get along with staff members, but for her facial expressions. My daughter suffers from clinical depression and anxiety and she struggles every day. She truly was happy during her time at this establishment and worked hard on maintaining a positive and professional attitude. She was talked to about her facial expressions once and tried to improve, however when she was fired she was told that she was "forcing smiles". Not only was she blind sided by working her whole shift only to be told she was fired, your managers Melissa and Oliva joked about hiring another person with my child's name infront of her while she was in tears. How is this professional? How is this Christian like? Isnt this your comapny's motto? This was her first job and this experience will scar her. Shame on you for not teaching your managers to not only be professional, but empthic. Shame on you for causing my child's mental health issues to worsen.
Desired outcome: Better staff training
