Today November 1st At approximately 1200 noon, my wife and I entered Denny's and my wife being an invalid was forced to stand while waiting to be seated. Finally a cashier escorted us to a seating area where we waited for approximately 15 minutes before a wait person saw to us. Again, we had to wait for about 10 minutes to be served coffee. After placing our order, another 15 minutes before order was delivered. This after other customers which came in after we did were served before us. When our order arrived my wife who had ordered whole wheat toast was served my English muffin and wait person had to return to serve toast which was not delivered on the first go around . The toast was white bread, not whole wheat as ordered. Had to stop wait person to ask for refill of coffee which she served prior customers without refilling our cups. When wait person finally came by with refill we had an already finished our meal and no longer desired refill. Being frequent customers we weren't used to this poor service. We both enjoy the excellent food but this last episode leaves us wanting.
