I contacted my local Gold's Gym for the collections information that is needed to proceed with cancelling my account. I spoke with a receptionist by the name of Kaley and asked only for the phone number for the collections agency. She proceeded to state she did not know. I asked if she could please find out for me. She put me on hold and spoke with what I presume to be her manager. She got back on the phone and finally provided 1-800 number. When I asked what the agency's name was she stated again that she did not know and I asked if she could find out. She stated the only person who would know would be her manager. I asked if I could speak with her/him and Kaley proceeded to state that she was unavailable with a rude attitude. I asked her for the district number so that I may file a complaint.. She then proceeded state Gold's Gym does not have one and hung up the phone. I called back and got her name and her manager's name which is Charity. I don't believe customers should be treated this way and I will be following up on this complaint.
