Dollar Tree

On yesturday, Septempber 9, 2019 @ 8:33 pm. I walked into the Dollar Tree to purchase some coco butter lip balm. I grabbed my 2 items and proceeded to the front counter. The check out associate (Named Maria) had just walked to a different register to do something when I approched her open register. When she saw me, she then rolled her eyes as if she was bothered about me approaching the register. She then proceeded to come and check out my items. When she grabbed my lip balms off of the conveyer belt, she looked at me and released a disgruntled and loud sound from her mouth as if I were bothering her by being in the store and in her lane. I did not see any other associates in the store at the time. She then told me my totoal ($2.17), I gave her the money ($2.25), and she gave me back my change ($0.08). I then said 'thank you' and she just looked at me. Those were the only words that I spoke, and proceeded to leave the store. While approaching my car that was parked right out front, I looked back up towards the store and she was staring at me.

I'm not sure of what she had going on, but I did not appreciate her lack of professionalism and rudness that she displayed towards me. Perhaps she need another class on professionalism in the workplace and towards the consumer. No one should be treated in that manner no matter how bad your day is going.
