Days Inn - manager on duty threatened me!

I was staying at this hotel and went down for their complimentary breakfast in the morning. While I was standing in line, a Mexican lady cut in front of me. I exchanged some words with her about cutting in line. She went and told the manager on duty, a Mexican lady named Alicia Sevales, that I said something to her.

Alicia Sevales came to me and started giving me a hard time in front of the other hotel guest but I think it was a case of racism because I am white and they are both Mexican. Alicia never did ask me what happened; just started attacking me about saying something to the Mexican lady. When I was checking out that same day, I told Alicia that I did not appreciate her talking to me the way she did in front of other guests.

She started arguing with me and I told her I was going to report her to the Days Inn corporate office. As I was getting in my car, she came out and wrote down my license plate number and said she now had all my information and she “was going to have my car blown up". She then said she was going to call her husband and have him come over and "kick my ###".

I wrote a letter to the corporate office and they said I had to speak with the owner of the hotel since it is a franchised hotel. I called the owner of the hotel, Vivek Mehta, and also the manager, Gautam, and told them what happened. They said they would call me back but neither one ever did. I guess they don't care that their employees are making physical threats to hotel guests.

This hotel not even close to the San Antonio riverwalk as the name implies. It is located in a bad part of town and is right off the highway, next to a gas station. There are transients there and twice I was approached and asked for money. There is also a train that runs right behind the hotel and woke me up at night.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone (especially if you are white) as the manager, Alicia Sevales, is definitely a racist against whites.

If someone says they are going to have your car blown up, you dont call the owner of the hotel, you call the police.
