Hello, I have been a customer since you opened in Houston. I have been playing since 1987 and shows since 1989. I took my guitar in for repairs on 7/26/22 and received a call to pick up on 7/27/22. When I went in the manager was with a customer and no one else approached me so I asked for help and rudely he replied to wait. So when he finally got to me I explained why I was there and when I said "the Puerto Rican" kid fixed it he got mad. He told me nmot to say that because we are all one? Which is fine but when I said he is and don't tell me what to say he took a step back and asked me if I needed mental help. He asked if I was ok and should he call someone. Now remember I have not raised my voice to this point, but I do and have struggled and been diagnosed with PTSD, bipolar depression, been in wards for it as well. First off, for such a "feelings" guy he should KNOW how unprofessional and rude that is. That's when I got mad. And yes I called him names as he argued back. I said just let me pay so I can leave and as he dropped tyhe receipt on the ground in front of me he said "get out and NEVER come back". And he added I was banned from ALL Guitar Centers! A life ban from a place that I have supported so I can play music as that's part of my therapy! I did ask him to step outside, I was that upset. I'm glad it did not come to that but ifg this "ban" is true, you have lost a good customer. I'm 49 and am well known in the Houston scene so my band, our followers, and my comrades in metal will boycott your stores. I know that probably means nothing to a huge corporate company, but your manager at store #494 needs some lessons in HR. He was so incredibly rude and wrong. I appreciate your time. Thank you.
