I had surgery six days ago to remove a pain pump that was implanted in my spine and my doctor ordered an oral pain medication to replace the medication that was in my pump and your pharmacy at Northpark in Kingwood Texas has refused to fill the medicine because it’s “A highly addictive and controlled substance” My pain management specialist at Methodist hospital has been managing my pain conditions for years and now, your pharmacy is refusing to fill the pain med she prescribed. This is unethical and is discriminatory for my personal healthcare needs. This boarders on negligence on the pharmacist part and is liable for anything that happens to me in relation to his refusal to fill a script ordered by my physician.
