Popeyes

My husband went to our local Popeyes fried chicken here in Jasper to place an order. When he got there, there was only one customer and several employees behind the counter including what he thought was the manager. Regardless, what took place could’ve been avoided. No one asked him if he had been waited on and they all seen him standing there. It was not my husbands place to get their attention so he could place his order and he wasn’t there just to get an individual dinner. He actually stood there 5-6 minutes….this was about 6:45 pm so the dinner rush was over….if they have such a thing with their service!….while the other customer placed his order and still none of the other employees behind the counter offered to wait on my husband. There two registers so in essence able to wait on two customer simultaneously. This particular location has gone way down in food preparation and service and at times the whole place looks nasty….trash on tables, trash under drink counter! In the last couple of years things have gotten so bad, we’ve quit patronizing this location as much as we did. In fact, I’d say this is the first time we’ve been back in the last 6 months and will be as long or longer before we try it again. Does Popeyes headquarters not make visits to these stores? If not, regular visits are needed! It’s amazing there are customers that still go there! I’m sure their popularity has fallen off.

Workers visiting like it was a family reunion and not doing their jobs. They completely messed our order up. Missing a chicken breast, red beans, fries and the over all visit was a complete mess. Cashier taking the order could not have been more mixed up when placing the order. I can provide the receipt and explain what it should have been. I am sure good help is hard to find these days, but this is ridiculous and needs to be addressed! I do not need free food just want a better popeyes!
