Popeyes

We went to the location at the corner of Irving Blvd and Loop 12 in Irving, Texas. We went inside to place our order. We had chosen the 10 piece chicken with 2 large sides and 5 biscuits as listed on the coupon for $21.99. The girl at the register gave us our total and we proceeded to use our gift card. She told us that the gift card probably wouldn’t work here. We tried to run it through the machine and it wouldn’t take it. We asked her how we could use the card and she said she didn’t know. I’m unclear how they don’t accept gift cards at this location. This is money that Popeyes accepted in order to buy the card. We just left and are having to drive all the way to the other side of town to try and use the gift card. This is a huge inconvenience and if the next location doesn’t accept the card then we will have wasted rework trips. I’m extremely disappointed.
