On March 19th I was scheduled to work 4 to 10p with another coworker named Linda Izaguirre who's worked there a few months longer than I have. I typically try to take my break in the middle of my shift around 6 to 7p, so I ask about taking my break around 630 when Linda would be done counting the tills. She says this is fine, then 630 comes around and I ask Linda about taking my break now that she's done with till's. She says no and to wait for Eunice to come in at 7p, I say ok that's fine it's only 30 min... Well 730 rolls around and I haven't seen Eunice come in so I go to the office and ask Linda one more time and she gets frustrated so I go back to the front register. A couple min later Linda Speedwalks up to me and yells "I'm here all day Lauren, I'm here all day" And I asked her why she's upset at me but she ignores and instead says "do you want to go home?" And I said no, I want to go on break. And she goes "well you can go home" and I am disable okay, I have PTSD, ADHD, OCD, bipolar and borderline personality disorder, so while she's yelling at me, I'm getting horrible intrusive thoughts to hurt her because I'm feeling attacked, so I decide to go home in order to not catch an assault charge. I feel like I also need to clarify that my brakes are very much needed. I use them to regather myself and restabilize my emotions so that I can function properly while on the clock. So for someone who's NOT a manager to tell me to go home is ridiculous and if she isn't reprimanded I'm going to sue, because it is illegal to refuse employees their break.
Desired outcome: Linda izaguirre fired or reprimanded
