I am filing this complaint on behalf of my brother who is a patient with this facility for 9 months. My brother has been going to this facility since last may (2021) and he is still in horrible pain and the wound is still open collecting bacteria and not getting better. It is now january 2022! When asked for at least some basic supplies to take home to help with the oozing puss that this wound care cannot get under control, he was told "no, we don't have any extra stuff to give you." meanwhile, they are the ones who are sending him away every week with no real plan in place to help him. I don't understand what kind of facility allows for a human being, who is seeking medical help, every week and trusting these so called medical professionals to help him, yet they never speak to him, never answer his questions and do not have a plan in sight for his recovery. I believe that as a medical professional, if you cannot help a human being with their health, it is your responsibility to find answers to figure it out or send him to someone who can. I would love to know what these so called doctors would do if it were their leg open and full of bacteria causing pain that is unbearable if they would keep coming back each week for nonsense. All this "wound care" wants to do is collect the money from the insurance. That's all this quack place is doing. They don't care about the people who need medical assistance. They only care about charging the insurance company for the poor "treatment" each week while my brother is struggling to walk because the pain is so horrible. And this so called doctor could care less about even speaking to him let alone help him! I'm almost certain that this facility will not be happy until he has to amputate his leg!
Desired outcome: REAL help and a plan in place or to direct him to a facility who can help!
