On Friday, October 6, I had a video consultation with a representative of Ideal Image. During that session, I applied for financing and agreed to specific services totaling nearly $8000.
Unfortunately, later that same day, I discovered that I was likely not a suitable candidate for that procedure. Since it was a weekend, and Monday was a holiday, I contacted Ideal Image on Tuesday morning asking that the contract and financing be cancelled. They told me that would pass my request on to Customer Service for follow up.
After repeated additional calls, an Ideal image representative informed me that my contract could not be cancelled because it was past the 72 hour cancellation period.
I escalated to a supervisor, who said that I might be eligible for cancellation for medical reasons. Upon my request, she sent me a copy of the contract I had signed (which was not mailed to me and not available for inspection through their portal. The contract they sent me does not state that the contract cannot be cancelled.
Now I am receiving notifications that I owe money, and Ideal Image customer service line will only send me to sales — nobody answers the complaint lines.
I want the contract cancelled, and I don't want to owe them any money. I'll pay a cancellation fee if necessary, but so far they aren't willing to accept the cancellation at all.
Desired outcome: I want the contract cancelled, and I don't want to owe them any money.
