Dear AMC Movie Theaters,
I typically go to this theater regularly because it's approximately about ten minutes away from my home and I love the service that I've gotten so far here. On Friday September 6, 2019 I had decided that I was going to go to the premiere of IT Chapter 2 and while being there, I had a terrible experience. I first decided to buy a drink and I sat through the previews and as soon as the movie started, I went to go and get a regular sized popcorn and once I started eating, I realized just how distasteful it was. With I told myself that I would just wait until my movie was over to just go and ask for a refund since I hadn't eaten majority of the popcorn. Throughout the movie I amongst several other guests in the theater began to worry about both what the sound was and where it was coming from. Two guests beside me decided to leave the establishment altogether. After the movie was over I quickly went over to the concession stand and spoke with a manager and I told him about my situation and how I was displeased with the food he gave me a nonchalant attitude and I did try my best to hear him out but he was being very nasty to me. I still ended up keeping my composure.
This was totally not what I was expecting at this establishment. I felt so embarrassed because your employee was shouting at me in front of the entire lobby for everyone to hear and even snatched my popcorn off the counter as he stormed off. I am completely disappointed that this is how you allow how your employers speak to paying customers and not to mention AMC Stubs members. I should have been able to receive either a food voucher or my money back. After dealing with both your manager "Matt" and the sound coming from theater number 11 I realized maybe that it might just better to take my business elsewhere where they'll meet the standards that I am looking for while enjoying some entertainment.
I love AMC theaters and I do in the future plan on continuing but please take everything that I am expressing to you into consideration. I will be looking forward to a response from you all. Please feel free to contact me at [protected]
