I did something today that I have never done! And I will never go back in this store. My family has shopped food city for as Long as I can remember. I shopped the piggy wiggly in Bristol for years before you changed the name. I have told my wife for the last 6 months that I am done with the store on center st. You can never find an employee if you need help. Today you had one lane open with 7 people in line to be checked out and the cashier was the only employee in the front of the store. I got mad and went to self checkout which is a rip off anyway! And 3 registers were not working. So I left my water and drinks sitting in a buggy in front of the store. What has happened to your customer service? Its not present anymore. And I have had enough of the Walmart mentality in Food City now. I will just find someplace else to shop. You might not miss me but there are lots if people who think like I do and if they stop shopping your store maybe you will get it.
Have a great day. I bought my water and drinks from Aldis today because it looks like you don't need my money anymore..

This is far from surprising if you know food city as well as I do. Most former employees of food city will tell you that Steve Smith and his FC empire would be first and foremost to throw ANYBODY under the bus to direct attention away from themselves least of all their competitors, but especially employees, Former & present!
