Shell - Fraudulent charge on credit card for fuel purchase
I purchased five gallons ($20) of gasoline via Pay-at-the-Pump on 4/20/22 from the Shell station located at 2722 Roane State Hwy, Harriman, TN. My credit card has been fraudulently charged $200. I noticed the error while reviewing my most recent credit card statement. I did not purchase $200 of fuel. My vehicle could not possibly hold that much fuel.
Desired outcome: I want the money I was overcharged ($180) to be returned to me.

The situation you described is a standard practice by banks & financial institutions when debit or credit cards are used to make purchases and pre-authorization is required.
