Auntie Anne's - Customer service

On 6/14/23 sometime after 2pm, I headed to the Northwoods mall. I am pregnant and I was craving a lemonade from Auntie Anne’s. As I approach the counter, there is a younger lady with her back to me putting pretzels in a cup. She turns around and looks at me but never acknowledges me. The older lady simply yells “it’s gonna be 10 min”. I wasn’t sure who she was speaking to as she never looked at me and I simply wanted a lemonade so I continued to wait. About 3 to 5 min later, the older woman yells again “it’s going to be 10 min” but this time she is looking at me. I said “ 10 min for a drink?” She then says very rudely “it’s still going to be 10 min because I have to do this first” referring to making pretzels. Of course that angered me as I will not be spending money at a place where they couldn’t spare 30 seconds to pour lemonade in a freakin cup! So I walk off to a photo booth. I then see that same rude woman walk past me and go pick up a bag from the smaller Anne’s. So she had time to walk all the way to another booth, but couldn’t pour lemonade in a cup? Really? I mean just pathetic. I know good help is hard to find these days but I rather have no help at all if that’s all you can put as your front line dealing with customers. As the saying goes, “one bad apple….”. I will not be supporting Auntie Anne’s again. Turning away a pregnant lady who just wanted a nice cold lemonade…

Desired outcome: That employee needs to be called out on this and take some type of customer service training. Or fired. If she doesn’t want to work and mistreats customers, let her find somewhere else to work.
