Giant Eagle

On Monday, 11/13/23 I did my grocery shopping in Wexford, PA. Each time I shop at Giant Eagle, I have to make a decision whether to buy lettuce from the produce department. Each time I buy lettuce I am severely disappointed. When I purchase bagged lettuce, even though the expiration date may be one week in the future, when I get it home and open it, it looks like it's been sitting around. It's NOT fresh. What do you do? Open the bags and repackage what looks good? for RESALE? So, not trusting the bagged salad, I buy a head of iceberg lettuce. When I get it home to clean it, the inside is half rotten! Come on now! My husband and I spend almost $300 each time we shop at Giant Eagle. The very least we should expect when we buy produce... IS THAT IT BE FRESH!
