My mother has been staying at the Extended Stay America in Malvern, PA since early 2020. Her room phone has not worked well for at least the past 6 months. The lime keeps disconnecting while actively on the phone something I've experienced firsthand. The phone has been replaced at least 4 times, multiple complaints have been made to the front desk and even to ESA via Twitter but the problem still persists. ESA shouldn't charge paying customers for using a defective phone line service. Money needs to be refunded to my Mom for the multiple line disconnects and phone service should be fully repaired. I will have no choice but to report this matter to the state attorney general's office in PA and ESA headquarters state AG, in addition to the BBB, social media platforms, local media, and local and state public officials. Perhaps the Public Utilities Commission could get word in this issue too. This is a consumer protection issue the Consumer Protection Bureau could investigate as well. We just want to the problem to be resolved before going to these measures. Last the man at the front desk at the Malvern PA location has been extremely rude to my mother as of 5/24/2021, 1:30p EST.
