I took my car in for the scheduled service. The first time my wife rode in the car after the service, we discovered that both vanity mirror lights did not function (drivers and passengers sides). I checked the owner's manual to see what fuse handled those lights and discovered that other items (ie: clock, gauges, smart key system, etc) still functioned normally. Unlikely that both bulbs would burn out at the same time, I concluded the service center has disabled those lights to encourage me to return for a non-service repair and a mild hosing of my wallet. Fraud! Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice shame on me. I will never return to the Faulkner family of dealerships for anything. I do love the Toyota...now the question becomes: Do I sell the Toyota and buy a Honda from a dealer I know, have dealt with for years and trust completely? If money were no object, I'm sure you have a good idea what my answer is.
