KFC - service and food

I stopped in our local KFC with a coupon for the Mother's Day Chicken meal today. I have had issues with this store in the past with employees not being trained or able to perform their duties. Orders have almost always had at least one hitch but I have overlooked many of those and curtailed my visits. Today was bad, even for them. The girl was not able to enter my order and had to call the manager to help enter. I gave her my selections and ordered a 6 piece tenders in addition ($7.69 + tax). When the order was finally ready I asked if it was complete, another issue in the past. It was not, even though she said it was. She added the missing items. When I got home and started to serve I had one box with the biscuits and another box that I assumed were the Tenders. Wrong, another box of biscuits!. And they were mostly a doughy, crumbled mess. Now I am out almost $8 before we even eat. When we opened the bucked of chicken we were met with a disgusting product. What should have been KFC golden browned crispy chicken was instead a very dark brown, almost black, greasy, soggy disaster. Just getting the messy outside off left us with grease running down our arms.
Does anyone change the grease there? The potato wedges were similarly fried and with a bad taste, uneatable. I know of several people that refuse to ever go there because this has been an issue for a number of years with that branch. I have had people try and start inappropriate conversations about their lives and make comments that should never have been allowed by management. People want to order, get and eat their meal in a reasonable amount of time and trust it will be right and tasty. I am not interested in their personal lives. It is about 30 miles to the next KFC and they are wonderful there. The food is always perfect as is the service. It would be wonderful if we could get even half of that type of service here. I am sure the managers are doing the best they can with the help they are given but folks like us will continue to abandon that store as time goes on. We do not have cameras in our phones so I was not able to take a photo of our meal. I was not able to call the store directly to ask for a refund of the money paid for the Tenders, must less the rest of the meal. A good bit of that had to be tossed out.
