Quest Diagnostics

This is going to sound petty, but I had a visit to my local urgent care in the Spring of 2014 for minor health concerns. I paid around $30 up front for services not covered by my insurance. Unbeknownst to me, I apparently still owed $13.74 that my insurance did not cover and just found this out by the collection agency I received a letter from today. I had no previous correspondence from Quest Diagnostics in relation to this bill I would have agreeably paid! Yet when I contacted them (Quest Diagnostics) today, in which I readily paid my whopping bill, they stated that they had sent out 5+ notifications. I have been at the same address for almost 4 years and I received nothing. The person on the other end of the line was completely monotone and treated me like I'm some irresponsible loser that doesn't pay my bills or offer any other person that I can talk to about this. They sent their notifications, sent me to collections, that's it! SO happy that I now, for the first time in my life have been sent to collections over a $13.74 bill! Thanks Quest Diagnostics! I appreciate it!
