Last August I needed to transfer an Rx to a Minnesota Walgreen's on a 1-time basis. I had recently had the dosage at the FM pharmacy increased & there was no problem at Walgreen's with that transver. However the next month I returned to Fred Meyer for a refill. I thought it was strange that the cost was $30 something instead of the $2 something I paid before, but the staff told me it was probably because it was "probably" because it was capsules instead of tablets & could only be changed by the Doctor. Any, when I got home I found it was the wrong dosage; immediately left a voice mail at the pharmacy, then received a v.m. saying that it was the wrong dose & to come in to fix this. When I returned, the folks staff had no idea who had left me that message & said there was nothing they could do. My husband later went back & was told it was my fault for accepting the wrong dosage! So... 1) I should not have paid $30 for the wrong prescription! 2) It's pretty scary if I can't trust the accuracy of a prescription I purchase at this pharmacy! — Especially since my husband & I often pick up each others' prescriptions & wouldn't know if those were accurate or not. I initially received "assurance" that this would be settled after writing to somebody (I think I have that record) then heard nothing. I then sent a note to customer service & again, heard nothing. Guess they're hoping I will just forget this... FYI: I recently picked up this Rx and it was accurately dosed & priced.
Claimed loss: $30.
Desired outcome: 1) I would like a $30 refund. 2) I need some assurance that future Rx's will be accurate and that I don't have to stand at the counter while people are waiting to double-check the accuracy of my (or my husband's) prescriptions.
