We bought a home from Oak Creek in OKC in September of 2022. Put $10k down. They promised we’d be in the home by Christmas! As of today, January 26th, we are still not in the home. However we are making payments. They brought the home to us damaged and again promised to have everything fixed. They finally sent 1 man down to where we live which is over 100 miles away from OKC. He stayed 1 day & told us he did all he could and we needed way more work done than he could do or had the knowledge to do. I talked with the general manager 3 weeks ago. Again he promised he’d send a crew down the next week. No one showed. Talked with him again yesterday (1/25/2023). He said it would be 3 weeks before anyone could come. So our house was delivered in September 2022. We are paying 2 house payments that we definitely can’t afford. I’m at a loss. It’s so heartbreaking to think we paid $180k and still can’t move in. I know we’re not the only ones in this situation. I really never thought this company would be so shady. We will probably have to go into foreclosure because we can’t afford 2 house payments. Our payment for the “manufactured home” is $1600 a month. We pay $1100 a month rent. Something needs to be done to this company.
Desired outcome: Fix our home so we can live in it.
Oak Creek Homes - New home
Purchased model park place from Oak Creek, OKC location. Factory did a crap job building this home. It has so many issues spoke to Rebecca at home office, she sent a guy out to fix leaking master bath toilet. He came out, fixed the leaking issue, but now the pump is pushed up against the inside of the tank and won't quit running. So the master toilet is not useable. I need someone to come out and fix every problem this piece of carp trailer has, or I want a total refund and come and get the POS!
Desired outcome: asap

Hello,
My mom is going through a similar situation with Oak Creek Home of Seguin. She closed on her home in 10/2022. Has not moved in due to the water heater it is not installed to code and is a fire hazard. Has your issue been resolved? She bought her home from Oak Creek home Seguin. Horrible experience as well. I have reached out to their corporate office, and I am waiting for a response.
