McDonald's

At noon on Friday, June 3, 2022, I made a Door Dash pick up inside the restaurant. While there, instead of holding up the drive-thru lane, I went inside to the counter per their request. No other customers were present though the drive-thru had a few there.

After recognizing I was a Dasher, I asked for a quick personal order of 2 cold drink since it was a warm day and I needed to take meds. I was told by a gal with headphones I could not order anything. Huh? So, I was ignored. The next gal told me the same and chanted "Rules are Rules". Then a 3rd gal eventually approached the counter putting stickers on my Dasher parcel and reluctantly granted my request to order 2 drinks to go. She reluctantly took my order but made it clear she was NOT happy doing it and spoke to me rudely. (She acted like scheduling a root canal would have been her preference instead of waiting on me - a BAD person asking for 2 drinks while picking up a Dasher order. Oh my.) I thanked her and then waited for the drinks when she kept raising her voice telling me "It's right there", It's right there" as she pointed to self serve plastic cups. I kinda stood there in disbelief.

Frankly, their conduct shocked me. It went beyond poor customer service. I dunno. Maybe a lack of simple humanity?

Shame on McDonald's for allowing people with such poor people skills to continue working there.
