WoodSprings Suites - Personal belongings

Me and my boyfriend checked in on 9/23/2021. We wound up breaking up shortly after but i stay for a little over 11 months with no issues what so ever. My ESA dog and another guests dog got into a little scruffle. At 2am i was told i must leave the hotel by 8am. Mind you the room was just paid for for the week the day before. As i started packing a years worth of my life, one of the employees came to my room and told me she was calling the cops because im still not out. Cops came and saw how much things i had and they told me i could have 3 to 4 more hours to get my belongings. My friend who was hrlpibg me kept running to my storage to put my things in it as i stayed at room packing. My friend had to leave so there was about 2 more trips to the storage unit we had. We asked an employee if we could come back that week to get the rest if my personnal belongings and he said yes. I even texted one of the employees that stated id be coming with a uhaul truck. I then rented a uhaul truck and a drivér and went to get the rest of my things and was told they threw my things out. I had about 4-5 thousand dollars of my things still sitting there. Im sure they were not tossed out but taken by the employees. I became homeless and my heart broke knowing all my sentimental things and expensive belongings were not held for up to 30 days as the law states. Also the hotel was still in my exboyfriends name all that time but they did have a copy of my ID. but all the reciepts has his name as the main guest, but my name as making the payments. Now legally he was not asked to leave i was so they went into "his " room which was paid for the week and threw away everything in there. How fair is that. The hotel never called me to tell me they threw away my things and they have no empathy.im taking legal action because im furious and hotels get away with too much. I was there almost a year. I should be considered a tenant or something like a tenant and i should have some rights. Your nit allowed to just go into someones room and throw away their things. .

Desired outcome: I am taking legal action to get compensated for all of my things thrown out by the hotel. Its considered theft by the employees.
