Spencer's - Rude Employee Made Assumptions About My Friends and I

I was with a group of friends and we were browsing through the store casually. Not only did several employees come up to us repeatedly but they also kept looking at us. I saw some cute gift bags and when to take a picture of one to ask my mothers opinion and an employee, a tall, pale, white male with dark hair abruptly told me I was not allowed to take photos. I apologised and then continued browsing. My friend was interested in some sunglasses and there was no mirror in the store that we could so she opened her front camera to look at her self. The employed suddenly started berating us for trying to take pictures despite us trying to explain that she simply wanted to see how she looked in the sunglasses. Instead, he insisted that we were lying and we chose to leave the store, leaving behind the purchases we were going to make, and as we were leaving he threatened to call security despite the fact that we were respectful the entire time and simple wanted to understand why he was so upset with us. I don't expect perfect service but I do expect to be treated with some respect especially when all I want to do is make a purchase. No other Spencer's has ever treated me like this and if this particular store has special rules then they should make that clear upon entrance and if they don't want their customers to be using their phones then perhaps they should provide things such as mirrors or catalogues to make sure their customers can see themselves in the products they offer or so they can show others products that they might be interested in.
