Chevrolet

I am currently in my second Chevrolet lease. My daughter and I have been visiting several Chevrolet dealerships (Island Chevrolet - Staten Island, Richard Lucas Chevrolet - Avenel, NJ, etc.) in the hopes of leasing a new Chevrolet Trax for my daughter. We brought in the advertised deal located on the Chevrolet website (2024 Trax LT $239/mth for 24 months. Although I have exceptional credit, we were told by every salesperson that this was an advertisement only to entice buyers to visit their dealerships, but that the specific model and circumstances to meet for the price was impossible. Instead of $239/month for 24 months, they offered $399/month and $411/month. Chevrolet dealerships are blatantly practicing bait and switch and taking advantage of exorbitant interest rates and hiked MSRP prices (price gouging) and it MUST be investigated and stopped!
