My husband and I went into TGI Friday's Monday, July 20, 2015 to take advantage of the endless apps as I had received the alert that new dishes had been added We try and go out for date night once a week at different places. WE usually end up at Friday's anyway We sat at the bar since we were also going to have a few drinks When it was time to order, my husband ordered an endless app at which time he was told that he couldn't order it unless I was going to as well Since endless apps is not new to us after speaking with the waitress who stated that it's an "unwritten rule that they're told to tell people" we then asked for the manager The MOD came over and explained that the app is $10/person We all agree that it states that on the ad but it does not state that each person must order the app in order for one person to eat Our plan was to order endless apps, 2 entrees & a few drinks & dessert; something we've done several times before Lisa stated that although it's not in writing that she can't allow my husband to place the order My husband asked if he could see it in writing where TGI Friday's states that each person at the table must order an app and/or what patrons can and cannot order and how they must eat what they order when they receive it. Lisa then responds that she's sure she can find something. As a former employee of Friday's (I actually helped with the hiring process of this restaurant when it first opened. I was the restaurant accountant and cook before moving on in my career. I worked with some great people!) I was overly shocked at the way my husband and I were treated over a $10 appetizer Especially when we planned to spend a lot more than $10 in the restaurant and are frequent patrons The way the manager dealt with us over $10 was unacceptable and I feel does not go with the honor and integrity that I know TGI Friday's to stand for Maybe I'm wrong and I welcome any feedback Our weekly date nights at Friday's was ruined and we do not plan on returning
Dace Media Group is self-described as a "New York based media entity that provides event planning, artists, procurement of venues, theme party planning, flyers, promotion & much more!"
I think any complaint posted by them regarding the services of something they are involved with should be treated with a dose of skepticism.
