I have been on budget billing for several years last year you reduced my monthly bill from $254 to $ 246. The rates went up, no surprise inflation is hitting everyone with everything we need to survive. I am a retired senior citizen I cannot afford to pay high unexpected charges. That is why I chose budget billing.
In February I saw how someone that was overpaying their monthly bill was charged almost $900 because they reduced their monthly bill after they had 3 months, they did not need to make payments because they over paid.
I was so afraid of getting stuck with a huge bill that I did not dare to turn up my thermostat higher than 67 degrees all winter long. This is not the way anyone should have to live. I would rather my monthly bill be increased than get stuck paying a larger unexpected amount later. I do not feel confident in the way my budget billing was handled. Either they are not very good at their jobs, or this was a way of making people on the budget pay more. I think senior citizens are being targeted and treated unfairly.

I think they should audit budget billing.
Desired outcome: I would like to have my monthly budget increased to $265 a month.The budget needs to work and should not be lowered so that the customer has to pay more.
