Dollar Tree - Complaint regarding poor service

Hello,

Usually, I enjoy shopping at the Dollar Tree in Peekskill, NY. Thank you for all the times I have shopped here, checked out and appreciated a good experience.

Today was not a good experience and I spoke to the manager who was not receptive to my concerns. This occurred today 6/9/21 at approximatley 1:00/1:15pm. I later found out the manager's name is "Sharice" (I do not know the correct spelling).

As I waited in line, two customers ahead of me seemed to have a problem checking out. The manager appeared to help the cashier, then told the person in line directly in front of me she would take her to another register. She the assisted the customer move her items and went to another register.

The problem continued with the customer in line before me at the same register, as I watched other registers open and the manager continued to check out one or two more people before leaving the register.

After a total of 10-15 minutes, a gentleman at another register offered to take me at his register. This gentleman was very polite.

After checking out, I asked to speak to the manager, Sharice. I said the gentleman who helped me was very nice, however, I am disappointed that I needed to wait to be helped while other customers were assisted. The manager advised me she was helping other people and stated it was my choice to wait, as I could have gone to another register. This is true, but I explained I had already placed my items down, a total of 15 items, and returned my basket to the front myself. I also inquired why another customer was helped moving items and I was not. I stated I saw approximnately five people being checked out while I remained on line with no assistance. The manager seemed to be offended, which was not my intention. She stated "you are saying I did something wrong and I didn't" and stated that I wanted "special treatment". This is not true at all, in fact, I would have appreciated being treated the same as any other customer, including the customer the manager assisted earlier and I said this to the manager. Due to seeing how busy the staff was, I had already returned my own basket to the front and it would have been inconvenient to move all my items to another register. The manager seemed to not appreciate this at all and stated the staff can do that, "it's their job".

I attempted to obtain an explanation, perhaps an apology, which I did not receive. The manager became more and more difficult to speak to and stopped listening to me. She then stated "have a good day" as she walked away from me. I can understand she was not happy with me, but I think her behavior was very unprofessional.

I also think the outcome of this conversation could have been much better if the manager would have addressed my concerns, instead of arguing with me and becoming offended.

Thank you for reading this. I want to continue shopping at the Dollar Tree and enjoying the experience, but I question if I will return after this very unpleasant experience.

Desired outcome: Acknowledgment and apology from corporate office and statement that all customers be treated professionally

Dollar Tree - unethical behavior

Good Day,
My Name is James. I am writting to complain about an employee named "Marie" who worked the cash register Tuesday Febuary 4th at 10:39AM. I was at her register purchasing cleaning products, when she asked what did I do for a living. Being poliet I informed her I had a cleaning company. She mentions how she had a company and would like to come work for me because dollar Tree is not paying Much. I informed her that I was not looking for any employees until she forced me to take her number and send her a text. So to speed the process up I gave her my numer. A few days later Im getting a call from her husband stating some very disturbing and unprofessional things. My trips to this store are a regular routine and she has mad it an unpleasant one.
