The facts are that when I entered into the UPS office located at 64 Beaver St, New York, NY 10004 at about 3 pm. I tried to ask about the cheapest options for the delivery services of my 2-page document. The male employee said that "If you want the cheapest one, you SHOULD go to the post office!"
The tone was extremely rude and disrespectful. He refused to explain to me more but to ask the other female employee (Jackie) to explain to me. I am not sure about the name of the female employee. It sounded like Jackie. The lady was very nice and patient. In the meantime, the male employee kept show up and said to her that "Just ask her to go to the post office!" And Jackie replied professionally that "We know..." I sensed the prejudice or biased treat from the male employee. I found it ridiculous about his impatient and disrespectful attitude.
As a customer, I have the right to inquire about delivery issues and to choose to take the service or not. It should not be mandatory. As an employee, he has the responsibility to explain to me. The disrespect is never acceptable for me. His attitude harmed the reputation of UPS. Even if I can afford the rate, I won't take UPS later because of him.
I don't know the name of the male employee as I was pissed off about his attitude. What I know is that he looks like an Asian but speak natively. I am not sure if he is the manager or the owner of that UPS store. I think he can not be rude to anybody for any reasons, especially for a customer.
