This is the second time I have submitted this complaint. I asked for a response but never received one. From the lack of response it appears that Family Dollar condones this type of behavior at their stores. As I stated previously, I would like a response to this email. As a minimum, the manager at this location needs to be reprimanded and educated on how to act appropriately with customers.

On 2/25/2020 I called FD Customer Service [protected] to register a complaint. Since you can't speak anyone I left a partial message on your automated service before the machine stopped. I asked to be contacted but have not been. I want to report the manager at FD on 333 Amherst Street, Buffalo, NY 14207.
On 2/25/2020 I was at the store and priced 3 Valentine candy items using the store scanner. Eventually I decided not to buy them and put them back on the shelf. As I was leaving, the manager said excuse me sir, "What was that all about?" I didn't know what he was talking about. I hadn't done anything or said anything to him. He said pricing items and not buying anything. I said I was debating about buying the items but changed my mind. Was there something wrong with that? He said let's get real now. He said I should not do that and I should buy something. When I tried to talk to him, he continually cut me off saying don't start or I will go off on you. I said you already went off and I headed towards the door. I did not engage him. He said not to come back again. Unfortunately I did not get his name but I can provide you with a very accurate description. I don't know what prompted his actions but his behavior was totally uncalled for, ignorant and unacceptable. He was either having a bad day or something's wrong with him.
After I left the store I thought I should have video tapped him or called the police because of his threats about going off on me. Did he mean verbally or physically?
Please contact me as I want to discuss this matter further. I also want to send this information to corporate as they should be aware of this as well.

Family Dollar - would not honor my 5$ off any purchase of 25$ or more
I went shopping at my local family dollar store #09003. I spent 26.00$ before tax after tax it was 28.28$.i proceeded to give cashier my coupon for 5$ off any purchase of 25$ or more, cashier would not let me use it saying that after coupon my total would be less than 25$, so I left paying 28.28$ VERY UNHAPPILY. I TOLD HIM I WAS GONNA COMPLAIN . AS I PROCEEDED TO LEAVE PARKING LOT ANOTHER CASHIER SAID A MANAGER CAN HELP ME I SAID UM A LITTLE TO LATE . ALSO I HAD 8 ITEMS AND THEY WERE ALL IN ONE BAG AND BAG BROKE HALF WAY HOME .VERY UNSATISFACTORY CUSTOMER SERVICE .THIS WAS ON [protected] . @14:42 .
The cashier was really misinformed and I personally would go back to the store and speak with a manager to have the sale redone the correct way and to suggest more training for their employees on these type situations. I would have been furious.
