CVS

On May 2nd at apprx 120pm I walked up to the counter to check out. A male cashier named Qwali was standing there. I asked if he was already helping someone because there was a water bottle on the counter looking like it needed to be checked out. He replied, "no," but then asks me if I have Zelle. I was like, "yes. Why are you asking me if I have Zelle?" He says, "because I want to buy this water." I immediately moved over to self-check out and rang myself out.

This employee was basically asking me to BUY HIM THE WATER and I assume he would pay me back by reimbursing me through Zelle. First of all, I would never give a complete stranger my Zelle information. God only knows if there is a way to extract monies from someone's bank account without their knowledge. What kind of people is CVS hiring? This was appalling. I have never ever encountered something like this and Qwali should be terminated. I felt so violated. I felt like a homeless person was asking me for money. I am still shocked at this extremely unprofessional and audacious conduct.
