I got a good price on a 5x10 climate-controlled storage unit. The total was about 67 dollars per month. Two months after I moved in, they almost doubled the price. It's now 119 dollars. I have some disabilities and just getting my stuff into storage was difficult. Now it's held, hostage. Nice facility with good service, but that's an underhanded and unethical practice.
Desired outcome: I'm sure there is something in the fine print that I missed, but they should come right out and say that it's just a two-month reduction for signing up, and the actual cost afterward will be x dollars per month."
