We LOVE having a patio cover. However, for $16,000 we got one that leaks. Proficient tells us this kind of attachment to house does leak - we were NOT told this at purchase. To add insult to injury, they charged us $350 to "seal" the patio cover, but a week later it rained and leaked. They would only refund half the seal cost... and it took me hours of hounding them to get that. Today, it is leaking all the way down the middle of the cover, ruining a Pottery Barn tabletop. Absolutely UNACCEPTABLE and HORRIBLE! Go somewhere else!
Claimed loss: Complete loss. Our cover leaks.
Desired outcome: Total refund so we can get a company to build a cover that does not leak, even if that means roofing with tiles. Proficient NEVER told us this cover would leak.

The FINE print on back of contract says they make NO claim that the cover is waterproof or that it may leak and no warranty coverage will cover leaks. So if you want a solid cover that leaks... this is your company.
