March 12, 2024 I stopped at Carl's Jr, 829 S White Sands Blvd. in Alamogordo, NM. There were 3 customers including myself attempting to place a food order. I arrived about 9:30 am. It took approximately 20 minutes to give my order to the employee at the register. The employee whose name appeared on my receipt was Christian V. He was extremely busy doing the jobs of about 3 people. He was taking orders at the drive thru, the front register, cooking between orders, delivering take out orders to cars outside and delivering orders to dine-in customers. The entire time trying to satisfy customers by apologizing for the long wait times. Christian V deserves an award for his hard work! I received my order at 10:15 am. There is nothing fast in this fast food restaurant. The store was grossly under-staffed. I can only imagine the chaos during the lunch hour. Christian V should be rewarded for his hard work trying to keep customers happy and protecting Carl Jr.'s reputation. Burgers are not cheap. Employee pay probably needs review to recruit good employees. Carl's Jr. is lucky to have Christian V as an employee.
