The latch that holds the sunglass holder is built cheap. It broke and I removed it and went to the parts department in Tom's River New jeresy. the tech looked the part up and said they can not get just the closing clasp and I had to buy the whole console. The console costs 199.00. They have to have the part but are trying to gouge customers.

This is the first time I bought a gm product in 30 years. I had problems and told myself I would never buy gm again. shame on me for giving them another chance. Al's I have 40000 miles on the Tahoe and the axel seal is leaking. I will never buy gm again and I will pass the word that they are a interior company. Toyota and Honda run problem free for hundreds of thousand miles with basic maintenance.
