Good afternoon,
I have been a shopper at stop & shop for over 10 years and usually have a good experience shopping in your store but on Friday April 21st As i was walking into the store located at American Legion drive in Teaneck with my emotional support animal which is a small dachound that never leaves my arms I was confronted by Omar your employee that confronted me in a very aggressive way
He stated my dog was not welcome in the store and to leave immediately.
He never stated that support dogs weren't welcome and talked down to me as if i was a shoplifter raising his voice and causing a scene in front of the store.
I showed him my support card and he stated he didn't care and just leave now.
If their was a policy change I understand but that doesn't give him the right to confront me in such an aggressive manner.
My friendly neighborhood Stop & shop is not so friendly and I will shop some where else that doesn't intimidate their customers in public and are unprofessional.
