I had received a e-mail last night reguarding a work from home job opportunity. This is what the e-mail said once I had responded to them. It is totally fake and a scam.

This is to inform you that your job position has been approved, and
you are qualified to be called a staff of Honeywell International Inc.,
and you are also legally capable of carrying out duties on behalf of the
company.
We would like to use this medium to remind you that as soon as you
receive payment in form of(Check) which is your first assignment, you're
to send an email to acknowledge the receipt, and also, to have such check
cashed at your BANK instantly or you will be ask to deposit the check for
24 hours and come back for the cash the next day, and as soon as you have
the check cashed you will deduct your 10% commission has we agreed earlier
and send the rest fund via western union to the company information that
will be provided to you in my next e-mail.
This update is also targeted at finding out if you will be available
in the week ahead, as we are about to begin full scale operations and
all hands would be needed on deck.And also you we will like you to know
that we need you to always write us an e-mail even though you did not
hear from us and when ever we send you an e-mail we will need your urgent
respond immediately.
We would like to know if you will be able to carry out your duties
diligently and timely enough and most importantly if you think you are
up to the task. A quick response from you would make things a lot
easier for us, so as to know if to inform our clients to start making
payments for goods already delivered to them, payment which will be
made directly to you in form of check.

The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I also received an email from Mathew Fishman, CFO of this company. I luckily have not lost anything yet but have the fake check and envelope I received it in still and going to authorties with it tomorrow. I hope it helps get these scammers to stop!
I followed this up through the third email. The last one was from "Honeywell Group" signed "Mathew Fishman, Chief Financial Officer". First two from "Honeywell Internatiional, Inc", signed James Clifton, Director, Human Resources".
Sounded like a scam. Checked it out. Thanks for the "heads up".
