Sam's Club - Quality of bulk items shipped to home

I ordered bulk food items to put in storage for a price buffer & to be prepared for emergencies. This is something that I do not typically do. The specific items I am dissatisfied were delivered on 11/23/22. Of the 6 cans of Allen green beans, the three center cans were dented. A dented can can contaminate its contents. The Dole pineapple cans expire in August of this year! Out of curiosity, I checked a can of pineapple that I had on hand, purchased from Winn Dixie. That can does not expire until the year 2025. Big difference. Very disappointing. I feel that the customers that choose the shipping option are given the products that would not sale on a store shelf. I did not check the quality or expiration dates on all of the bulk items I bought, I disliked seeking things that will anger me, but just opened the beans tonight.

Desired outcome: I would not have purchased either item had I seen them beforehand. A refund or replacement would be nice.

Sam's Club - funds held

On 02/25/2021, I purchased $34.17 in gas from Sams' fuel station using an American Express Serve Card. Sam's held $100.00 of my money for a $34.17 charge. on 02/27/2021 the $34.17 purchase cleared, but Sam's continued to hold $100.00 from my card. This is wrong, if the $34.17 cleared why are they still holding my $100.00? I went to the customer service department to try and get answers. The manager, Tara Jessip, tried to say that maybe the $100.00 was for membership fee. I showed her the transaction on my phone and told her that the card company American Express said that it was Sam's that was holding the funds not them. MS Jessip tried to explain that some companies hold up to $100.00 for a purchase, but my question was, they hold 3 times the amount of the purchase? That is unreal Sam's and unfair. MS Jessip stated that it was not the local club, that it was the corporate office holding the funds. I have obligations that I have to take care of and not Sam's has added undue stress because of the hold on my money. This is not right! Club #8236

Desired outcome: Sam's to stop using this practice, and hold an amount equal to the purchase and release the hold amount once the purchase amount clears.
