Hi,
On July 31/21 I returned 6 cans of Neutrogena sun block and asked for my money refunded as part of the Johnson and Johnson call-back. The Walgreens was the one at Town Center Drive in Eagan, MN. I didn't have a receipt, but who keeps receipts on sundries that were purchased over several of the last 12 months. The manager begrudgingly gave me a store credit anyway. The manager was rude and short with me and obviously irritated that I made her go through more hassle because I didn't have a receipt. And also, receiving a store credit instead of cash or credit card credit just indicates that Walgreens is trying to profit off of J&J call-back. We all know that J&J reimburses Walgreens for the returned payments. You want to know how to improve your customer service
1. Stop wasting money on customer service surveys. I get at least three a day from a wide range of businesses and it is getting ridiculous.
2. Managers nicely honor product call - backs without being syrupy and phoney about it.
3. You refund cash since that's what the customer used to buy the product.
4. You do not waste time by responding to this complaint, just improve your customer service. I am switching to CVS which is also in Eagan where I live.
