As I was walking through a Costco in Maplewood, Minnesota, on 2/6/16, I saw samples for something called "Eco drinks" or something like that. I had seen other employees give out that kind of drink sample to other families ( so pretty much people of all ages), so then I went and helped myself to a sample. The man who was handing out the samples asked me if I took vitamins, so I told him I took gummy multivitamins. Then that's when things went little downhill. He sharply accused me of lying and said gummy vitamins are only for little children. I politely said that they were in fact adult gummy multivitamins. He then asked me how old I was, and I told him my real age. (which I will not disclose online), and then that's when the employee decided to say "All right, I KNOW you're lying now! You're not (the age I told him I was) Show me you I.D., show it to me RIGHT NOW!" At this point a small crowd of 8-10 people had accumulated around me. I asked what I did wrong, then he screamed that I lied to him about taking multivitamins, and again roared in my face to show him my I.D. I refused, because he wouldn't tell me why he wanted to see my I.D. I never did anything wrong, so I wasn't going to indulge my information to this crazed employee. Besides, it's not like the drinks were for a specific age group; after all, I'd seen these drinks get handed out to many families. Promptly afterwords, I said that I didn't know what I did wrong, and that I didn't want to start a fight, so I apologized for whatever I did wrong. With a defeated look, I promptly left the store in a furious state.
