On Thursday March 19, 2020, I purchased four 6 - 8 FL OZ packages of Silk Almond Milk (shelf milk)on sale for 2 for $10.00. Two cartons had an expired date of 11/19/2019 and the other March 7, 2020. I tried to exchange the items at Kroger's customer service (on 03/23/2020) to an associate along with the store manager, Ron Gresham and they refused to exchange my expired milk for 2 packages that was not expired. Ron Gresham reason was that I could not exchange the milk because of what was going on with the Corona Virus 19.
I am a senior citizen that was taken off from work because of being at-risk for the Corona Virus 19. It is not fair that the manager of the Kroger Store is taking advantage of customers and allowing expired food to be put on the shelves because of this crisis and expecting customers to take the loss.
Ron Gresham needs to be reprimanded and educated on exchanges within policy at the Kroger Store. I would also like to request a refund or either (2) packages of 6 - 8oz Silk Almond Milk (fresh).
