I visited this location to shop for clothing for my little girl. I found a shirt that was detached from an outfit. Someone had clearly taken the outfit and there was no outfit in that section to match the shirt with. The cashier was nice enough to go and check for a match in that section and returned saying there was no marching outfit back there. He proceeded to ask the manager Deann if he could sell it as a clearance item. She said no they have to look first. The sales associate already looked and there was no match. She was extremely rude and proceeded to tell me she can't tell me when they will look for a match. I offered to stay and wait she said no we are not doing that. This was very poor customer service. Deann is the manager who was rude about the situation and it didn't make any sense for her not to sell the shirt to me for a clearance price or any price for that matter. Please contact me back with a proper resolution. I am a valued customer and frequent this location often. I can be reached at [protected] or [protected]@gmail.com
I'd like to respond to you and let you know the procedure at the store I was employed at until recently. What happens is that we tell the customer we will be happy to take their name and phone number and after a week, if they still want to purchase "the mismate", we will discount it accordingly. The week gives us time to search or somehow it just appears. Some of the time it has been matched with another size (Top Small/Bottom Medium and it will never reappear because it sold that way. I, personally, have called the customer after a week and they are so excited for the follow through. I recently left after 6 years due to the Covid scare. Customers are angry, rude, refuse to wear masks (we have to) and complain, complain abut the shelves being empty and the fitting rooms closed. Not worth the risk. Hope the above helps if this situation arises again for you.
