I held on a call for over 45 minutes before hanging up
I had surgery earlier today and was calling to see if my meds were called in by the Doctor... went to the drive thru after leaving the hospital and there was no record of them being called in So I called my Doctor to check if they had been called in and she stated that she would call them in again which was error on her BUT I tried calling to ask if they had been indeed called in and held the line for 45min before hanging up! My son was able to drive up to the store to get them... I was also able to call from my landline while holding on from my cell and asked someone in the front of the store if they would please go back to the pharmacy area to ask whom ever was in the pharmacy to pick up they said no problem and that line was on hold for an additional 15 or so minutes so again I hung up! I am in a lot of pain I have never had any problems with the staff always courteous thoughtful and smiling So needless to say i'm perturbed I feel like they dropped the ball when they were really needed also I don't believe that anyone should correct the way a person pronounces a word which was done by a staff member at the drive thru Oxycontin or oxycodone
Desired outcome: If more staff needs to be hired to help the pharmacy then it should be done and answering phones is a essential part of the position
