Brought in vehicle to have tires replaced on a Saturday, employee stripped lug nuts and car was disabled, could not drive safely, they could not fix or repair, vehicle needed dealership or repair shop expertise, worst part is I was scheduled to leave for a drive to Texas on Monday. Sam’s informed me that their policy is that the customer pay for the tow, repairs and rental car and then the store will reimburse the customer. This is unacceptable! I was forced to make a claim on my car insurance because Sam’s would not pay! Sam’s manager said they likely won’t pay for the rental car. No apology, stoic manager (Louis) was unsympathetic and told me he couldn’t do anything for me.
Desired outcome: Change the store policy! Some people do not have full coverage as I do! How will those people pay for Sam’s Club negligence if they can’t even afford full coverage insurance?
