I visited the Ashland Store where I have always bought my paint and supplies for years. I was waited on by a young salesman that I have worked with before. He has always been very helpful, but this time he did not like me reminding him to wear his mask properly. He said his face was too big and kept raising and pinching his mask while he was waiting on me and my husband. He would raise the mask by pinching the nose and then let it flip back on his face landing above his mouth and continuously doing this. I mentioned that it needs to be taut against his face and he should not be constantly putting his hands on it and flipping it open, defeats the purpose of wearing it. You could tell that he did not appreciate me saying this and just ignored me and continued this disgusting habit. Meanwhile other customers were shaking their heads yes and I was backing up from him. We have a scourge of cases in our area and our hospitals are full. I am older and feel compromised by this man. I told him that if the mask was too small then ask for a bigger mask. He got mad and walked away from the register and told the other salesman to work with us, then he yells out that he is a big man and the mask does not fit. I said then it does no good and he needs to keep his hands off of the mask. I do not want to ever go into this store again, because of his actions and smart remark. Truthfully it made me sick that he continued to do this sickening behavior and it made my husband mad. He should not be working with customers until he is counseled about how to wear his mask properly while working with customers and to not touch his mask, because he is possibly endangering customers.
