I made an appointment for 10/27/2023 at 11:00 am for the Covid-19 shot last week. All week long I received text messages reminding me of my appointment.
When I arrived at my appointed time at the pharmacy and said to the tech that I had an appointment and showed my Covid vaccination card, I was told they are out of Pfizer and try again maybe Thursday of Friday of next week.
Now, I do not remember if the Osco appointment web-site have a person indicate which product to choose when making the appointment, but I think it should. I always take the Pfizer and do not want Moderna. I was frustrated that the pharmacy tech said their system does not keep track of a supply on hand. Somebody in your organization should look into placing some kind of system for the pharmacy to keep track of the different Covid medication and notify a person before they arrive that they are out of that particular medication.
