I went to the Walgreens in Muscatine IA, 52761 and was speaking to Rachel (employee). I was trying to pick up my 3 (8 X 10) photos that I ordered online as I have done the same for the last several years with the same Lifetouch company that provides me with the digital copy. She asked for copyright documents and I logged into my Lifetouch and my Shutterfly accounts and showed her everything they had including my digital image that I downloaded that was sent to me from Shutterfly and she denied me receiving my 3 photos. I have downloaded and printed off my daughters school photos almost every year and have never been asked for this, not to mention that I got 5 (8 X 10) of the same exact picture a few weeks ago from the same Walgreens and had no issues. Why was that ok and all the sudden today it wasn't? She stated that it's illegal without the copyright document, well I just received copies a few weeks ago so it wasn't illegal then? So, I contacted Lifetouch and they stated that me showing her my purchase order and the digital image should've been enough for them to accept it as I have the rights to be able to print these anywhere I would like. They have a copyright document but I have to login to a computer (which I don't have) in order to download it. I literally stood there and showed her every email I received and logged into each website to show her I had rights to print it and she still denied me and was very rude about it. My suggestion is don't allow the photos to be uploaded and/or printed if you have to provide additional documentation. The pictures were right in front of me and I could not take them home with me. My email is [protected]@yahoo.com, you can look up my past purchase orders and I have always been able to pick up all of these photos without issues until I was waited on by Rachel.
