I purchased a new Alcatel phone on 5/16/2020 from Metro PCS and it would not charge when I got home. Took video with old phone to prove there was a problem. Returned to store the same day, showed the sales clerk the video and she replaced the charging block. and it worked for a day or two. Then the same problem started again, not charging, so I bought a new USB from Micro Center and it was ok for 5 weeks before it would not charge again. Returned to the store again and the sales clerk did all she could until I could talk to a manager. Returning the next day I was informed by the manager that because I had the phone longer than 7 days, and less than 3 months, and had no insurance, they would not do anything. So I paid over 200 dollars for a defective phone, that will not charge. Is it worth my time to hire an attorney? I would love to go public with this on national TV. Specificaly WSB TV Channel 2 Action News.
